We are soon celebrating one year since Apple’s announcement that iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X will have embedded wireless charging. Considering Apple’s trend-setting history, this strategic decision was an important milestone in the wireless charging adoption curve.
Since the new iPhones launched in the market, we are seeing over 100% of wireless charging usage in our public spaces install base around the globe, we are seeing a significant increase in leads coming in of businesses interested in equipping their stores with Powermat wireless charging and more bloggers & reporters are starting to understand the huge value of the seamless experience of wireless charging.
In a survey by RBC Capital Markets, Wireless Charging was the most attractive feature in iPhone X upon its launch, with 46% of the votes as published in Business Insider.
