Receiver Battery Door for BlackBerry Bold™

Wow, my previous has been removed, I guess they didn't like what I wrote!!!!

Again, the product works great but the door cover stops working after couple of weeks of usage so beware. I have replaced my door cover at the store 2 times so far. I have contacted Powermat by email and have not received any response and 5 days have passed!

Overall I would say great technology, but very fragile.

i love my Powermat ... I even love the Powermat attachment that requires me to plug-in my iPod before I can charge it "wirelessly."

Having said that, the Powermat battery door cover for the original BB Bold is great. It's a snap to install since it simply replaces your existing BB battery door and then whenever you need to charge the BB, you just drop it down on the Powermat while will give you a nice audible response to let you know it's connected to the device and charging. All very nice, very easy, if only a tad pricey.

Having said that, the only cautionary advice I'd give is to remember that the Powermat enabled battery door contains a not insignificantly powered magnet. I didn't have any issues keeping my Powermat-enabled BB near a wallet (i.e., no issues with my credit card) but I did have a few days where my hotel keys were mysteriously zapped before I remembered that I had stuffed them into the same pocket as my BB. Of course, once you do this three or four times you'll learn your lesson as I did.

Beyond that, great device and nice add-on for my BB.
